My name’s Dana and I’m a pre-junior here at Drexel. My interest in sharks started about 7 years ago, when I came across an article about the atrocious practice of “shark finning.” While looking for more information on shark finning, I found ReefQuest, a very detailed shark website created by shark biologist R. Aidan Martin. I read all of Martin’s works and most of the books he recommends, and I’ve been enthralled by sharks ever since. Sharks have evolved to be perfect predators, and their vast range of adaptations makes them absolutely fascinating and beautiful. =]
